Applications are invited for an online interview for one post of Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical) in the ICMR-funded project titled “Sickle cell disease detection using quantum sensing employing functionalized nanodiamonds” at the Department of Physics, IIT Guwahati.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees in Physics, Applied Physics, Photonics or Optics.
• Specialization in optics and photonics is required.

2. Age Limit

• Maximum age limit: 35 years for Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical).

3. Desirable Qualifications

• PhD in Physics in areas of Optics, Photonics, Quantum Technologies and Laser Physics.
• Experience in optics and laser-based experiments.
• Experience in spectroscopy and instrumentation.
• Experience in LabView automation and quantum measurements.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit for the advertised post is 35 years.
